Stylistic Wood Beam
This is a fantastic stylistic wood beam that I scanned on a particularly overcast and successful day of scanning at Red Rock Park. I really like this stylized beam and this it could work in both western and fantasy assets.
Birch Bark Pendant Light
A friend was building a great house asset so I thought I'd scan a Birch Bark Pendant Light I'd built and used in my home, just to help class it up. Wasn't too hard of a scan although I wasn't able to get the interior. It's beautiful anyway and kind of swanky! Enjoy!
It is a super classic subject that seems ubiquitous in 3D assets which is why I realized it might be nice to have a scanned wooden crate for reference. I had one sitting around at my place so I scanned it. 227 RAW images on my turntable in my light tent.
I was scanning household subjects for a specific asset pack job. Well I did very well and scanned so many that they weren't all included because frankly I scanned more than were needed. So here is an everyday barbell weight.
Beam (1)One - Sides 1 & 2
I have failed a number of times at scanning a wooden beam. While I have been able to recover a single side of a beam, I have not been able to successfully scan an entire beam. Grrr.... But at any rate, you can all still benefit from having a side or two of a wooden beam from which to work. Enjoy!
Acoustic Ceiling Texture
I scanned this one for a friend and I really wasn't sure it would come out since the subject is basically all a uniform color. But to my surprise it came out just fine.
